Environmental Social Science Research Group (ESSRG)

The ESSRG university research group was established in September 2004 in the Department of Environmental Economics, Institute of Environmental and Landscape Management (IELM) at the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of Szent István University in Gödöllő, with the participation of lecturers, researchers and students.

The group focuses on the study and teaching of environmental issues from a social science perspective, and its top objectives include better utilization of the potential in the synergy of educational and research activities.

The ESSRG’s studies are conducted in teams often including biologist, anthropologist, jurist and agricultural engineer researchers from various universities and NGOs.
